ABOUT ME
An Educator
From the moment I picked up a violin and started plunking out a melody on the piano as a 6 year old, I knew that music would always be a part of my life. At about the same time I had a dream of becoming a teacher. I went on to study music throughout high school where I had opportunities to compete, play in youth orchestras and perform as a soloist. I began teaching private music lessons after school as well. I studied elementary education/special education in college while still playing with the college orchestra and teaching private lessons on the side. After I graduated I focused on my special education teaching career by teaching math and transition classes in high school and middle school for 5 years. In the middle of that I met and married the most wonderful husband and gave birth to the most precious son. I've now decided to take a break from teaching in the public setting and go back to my roots, teaching something I love: music.

Mrs. Sandall is by far one of the best teachers I've ever had. She has an amazing gift of knowing how each kid learns and being able to teach them in a way they understand. She's down to earth and very patient when it comes to teaching. I wouldn't be where I am today without her!
